Best Easter Ever!!!

Easter, just like Christmass, is a holiday I love spending home with my family. I know a lot of folk who enjoy going to vacations and whatnot… but I am just not that type. I don’t know why though.¬†It is most likely because as a child, my entire family would gather home and celebrate it together. It’s just how I was raised. And, you know what they say – if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it! Those are the words I follow when it comes to spending holidays with my family.

easterEven though we are not gathering in the same (huge) numbers like we did a couple of years back, both Easter and Christmass are still special occasions in my household. This year, I was making dinner for 12 people including myself. It was amazing! If you are wondering what I made, it was a giant¬†meatloaf finely spiced up with cheese and garlic… needless to say – everyone loved it and I got a lot of praises from my cousins!

But the meal was not what made this Easter special… My meatloaf was not the high point of a wonderful evening. Nope! You see, my cousin Derek actually proposed to his girlfriend Amanda in front of all of us. Best of all – he did not tell a single soul. Needless to say, we were all amazed by the outcome.

Of course, Amanda said yes and our Easter celebration turned into a special party afterward. There was a lot of alcohol involved too, even more than I’d like to admit… But still, it was for a good reason – my youngest cousin just got a fiancee in front of my very eyes… If that is not a good reason to celebrate and drink a few cup of wine, then I really don’t know what is!

My thoughts on Anderlecht vs Manchester United

manchester united anderlechtIf you did not read the About Me or Home pages, then you probably don’t know that I am a huge football fan… or how Americans would address it – soccer. Well, news flash – I am a huge fan of Manchester United. It’s the only club in the world that I am really passionate about. Ever since my kindergarten days, I was watching Manchester United games. I adored Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. Needless to say, they were my childhood idols. Even though I tried playing football, with my 2 left feet I could not make it past the amateurs.

Luckily, I don’t need any skill to watch games so I just stuck to that. Today, I’d like to share with you the frustrations I had while watching the second leg of Europa League quarterfinal matchup. We were playing against a strong Belgian side Anderlecht. The first leg was nothing special (we played in Belgium) but we managed to get a solid 1-1 result.

Today at Old Trafford, things started amazingly well for us with Mikitharyan scoring the first goal. Unfortunately, after that our game totally crashed and we ended up conceding a silly goal. After the regular 90 minutes, the score was the same (1:1) like the first leg which meant we’re up for extra time.

rashfordThe first half of extra time wasn’t anything special. Luckily, our players started playing a bit better in the second extra time half and their efforts were awarded a goal from Rashford. It was not the best of chances but Rashford took it perfectly after a couple of bad misses earlier.

After all, I’m still satisfied with us qualifying for the semi-finals. Hopefully, we’ll get that one last trophy we’re missing from our collection… and of course, automatic qualification to Champions League is just the icing on the cake!

Spicing up my daily commute!!!

aerox rAfter using Yamaha Aerox R for almost 2 years now, I’ve finally decided to spice up my daily commute to work. Don’t get me wrong guys, I have nothing against Aerox. On the contrary, I love it! I’m a big fan of powerful scooters… motorcycles – not so much. That’s because I’m way more comfortable sitting on a scooter than riding a fully-fledged bike. It’s just a personal preference although I can already tell some of you judging me. What can I do, I’m sort of a pussy when it comes to those things…

hoverboardAnyways, as I’ve already mentioned above, I got myself a new mean of transportation to work and back. It’s a hoverboard. You see, I’m usually not that tech savvy but I just could not resist this time… I purchased a hoverboard. And not just any hoverboard for that matter! I got the EpikGo Sport Plus that looks (and performs) absolutely amazing! It goes as fast as 20 km/h, but I’m not going anywhere near that top speed. I’m usually just casually strolling around 10-15 which is perfect for my needs.

Another thing that makes this hoverboard perfect for my needs is its long lasting battery. I have around 5 kilometers to my workplace and another 5 on the way back. When I get home, the battery is somewhere around 30-40% which is awesome. I can even go grocery shopping afterward without having to charge it. It sports an elegant design with gorgeous red accents on the wheels. Without doubts – I love it!

So yeah, that’s about it when it comes to this post. I wanted to share it with you guys since I did not have anything better to write about. Anyways, thank you for reading this and I hope I did not bore you to death. As you can see, I am still pretty new to this whole blogging thing so don’t be mad if I didn’t do something right.

Peace out!
